There is always something about the character of Rocky that appeals to everyone. I guess it is just that drive to surpass oneself against all odds, that will "to go the distance" that inspires us to do the same in the context of our lives. It is no surprise that after more than a decade, people still clamor to see the Italian Stallion climb back into the ring and fight until the bell sounds the end "the enduring metaphor and representation of the act of standing firm for the values we believe in". Rocky is back and is ready to inspire and enthuse a new generation of viewers.
